Mikhail Medvedev, head of the department of ophthalmology at KRSU, has passed away

The staff of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University expresses deep condolences to the relatives, friends, colleagues and students of Mikhail Anatolyevich Medvedev, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Ophthalmology KRSU, who untimely left us a month before his 64th birthday.

Since 2017, Honored Doctor of the Kyrgyz Republic M.A. Medvedev headed the Department of Ophthalmology KRSU named after B.N. Yeltsin, was the chairman of the scientific and practical society of ophthalmologists of the Kyrgyz Republic. For his activities, the famous Kyrgyz ophthalmologist was awarded the Order «Dank». Mikhail Anatolyevich – author of 2 monographs, 17 patents and copyright certificates, he trained 7 candidates of medical sciences.

This is an irreparable loss for the medical community of Kyrgyzstan. We remember, we mourn.
