Larisa Vsevolodovna Tarasova passed away. A man of great soul, culture, education, attention to people, completely selfless and devoted to his work – creating books.

Hundreds of scientists of the republic owe it to them that their creations have acquired a harmony of internal content and external appearance that meets the requirements of the scientific world. She gave authors and books a start in a great life. Essentially, she inspired me! At the same time, she did not demand anything in return, because well-done work and the successes of the learned brethren, «who had gone through» her attention and care, were her main reward.

For many years Larisa Vsevolodovna headed the publishing house of the Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan, and then created and for a long time headed the publishing house of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. It was she who gathered and united the professional team of the publishing house KRSU – today one of the leading ones in Kyrgyzstan.
