The head of the EMM department, Irina Viktorovna Lukashova, has passed away
At the age of 60, Irina Viktorovna Lukashova, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Mathematical Methods and Operations Research in Economics at KRSU, passed away.
Irina Viktorovna began working at KRSU from its creation in 1993, and in 1997 she headed the established department of mathematical methods and research of operations in economics and this became her life’s work. The team she created – is a unique fusion of youth and experience, capable of solving the most serious problems. The professionalism of the department's graduates is recognized by employers in Kyrgyzstan, Russia and other countries, and the department itself has become a recognizable brand.
Irina Viktorovna was a bright, talented teacher, generously sharing knowledge, a brilliant scientist, who wrote many scientific papers, and completed dozens of research projects. An inexhaustible generator of ideas, an excellent organizer, infecting both employees and students with her enthusiasm – just look at the specialties invented by her in the evening, which bring together hundreds of students and graduates of the department in an informal setting.
She was a person of extraordinary breadth of soul, delicately delving into the needs of her employees, but at the same time demanding in everything that concerned the matter. For students, she was not just a favorite teacher, but also a wise mentor in everything, an example of a professional attitude to work and high responsibility.
Her departure was an irreparable loss for the department, students, graduates and the entire university. It will forever remain in our memory. We express our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Irina Viktorovna.
