The development of the Eurasian Network University was discussed in Astrakhan

Vice-Rector for Youth and Information Policy of KRSU Stanislav Kulikov took part in the plenary session of the IV Forum of the Scientific and Educational Consortium «Eurasian Network University», which takes place in Astrakhan.During the expert discussion, mechanisms for the development of joint educational programs, academic mobility and youth cooperation between universities in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union were discussed.The forum participants paid special attention to issues of networking between universities. Today, the Eurasian Network University includes 41 universities from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.Member of the Board (Minister) for Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission Arzybek Kozhoshev noted the effectiveness of the consortium.«The Eurasian Network University is making great progress. The 41 universities it unites are connected by a network program, and it works fruitfully», — he emphasized.First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation on Science and Higher Education Vladimir Sipyagin drew attention to the practical results of integrating educational systems.«There is a very clearly structured system of interuniversity agreements, when students receive diplomas from two universities, and this is extremely important for the integration space», — noted Vladimir Sipyagin.In his speech, Stanislav Kulikov presented the experience of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University in the field of youth policy, international cooperation and the development of student initiatives. Issues of involving young people in scientific, social and volunteer activities, as well as increasing student participation in international educational projects, were also touched upon.The forum will continue on May 22. The program includes — a meeting of the ESU Coordination Council, strategic sessions and working meetings dedicated to the further development of scientific and educational cooperation in the EAEU space.
