RKOF-2025 will be held in Bishkek: KRSU — center for dialogue between Russia and Kyrgyzstan
On September 23–24, 2025, the II Russian-Kyrgyz Educational Forum (RKOF-2025) will be held in Bishkek. The central and flagship platform of the forum will be the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, on the basis of which the main plenary sessions, discussions and exhibition of Russian education will take place.
The forum will bring together representatives of more than 80 organizations from Russia and Kyrgyzstan, including leading universities, research centers, business structures and government departments. The main topic will be the contribution of universities in the two countries to the development of the economy and society, as well as practical interaction with industrial partners. Particular attention will be paid to joint projects of consortia of technical, medical and agricultural universities, as well as educational diplomacy, the role of the Russian language in career building and modern labor market requirements.
The program includes more than 20 events — round tables, master classes, discussion panels and presentations of youth startup projects. As a result of the forum, a number of agreements are expected to be signed on the implementation of joint educational and research initiatives aimed at developing the real sector of the economy of the two countries.
On September 24, the main building of KRSU will host an exhibition of Russian higher education, where over 30 universities from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Tomsk, Ufa, Astrakhan, Krasnoyarsk, Omsk and other cities will present their programs and talk about the possibilities of admission to budget places.
The forum is organized by Rossotrudnichestvo, the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Kostroma State Agricultural Academy and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University with the support of the Administration of the President of Russia and the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. The key participant in the dialogue will be the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
The opening of the forum will take place on September 23 at 10:00 in the large hall KRSU.
