An international conference was held in Bishkek «Institutions of power and law of the peoples of Eurasia in the XIII-XIX centuries»
On November 1, the International Scientific Conference «Institutes of Power and Law of the Peoples of Eurasia took place at KRSU XIII-XIX vv.», dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the formation of KRSU named after the first President of the Russian Federation B. Yeltsin and the 25th anniversary of the university’s Faculty of Law.
The event was organized by Altai State University, KRSU, Scientific and Educational Center for Altaic and Turkology «Greater Altai».
The conference was opened dean of the Faculty of Law KRSU, Professor Bermeta Tugelbaeva and Director of the Law Institute of Altai State University, Doctor of Law Anton Vasiliev.
Then the participants of the event, including Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Nikolai Kradin (Vladivostok), adviser to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Honored Lawyer of the Kyrgyz Republic, Professor Bekbosun Borubashov (Bishkek), chief Researcher of the REC of Altaistics and Turkology «Greater Altai», Doctor of Historical Sciences Roman Pochekaev (St. Petersburg), Professor Rustam Nabiev (Kazan), Professor Zhamaladen Ibragimov (Astana), Professor Daurenbek Kusainov (Almaty) and other scientists and experts from Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan – discussed issues related to traditional and modern methods of studying legal monuments and legal realities of the peoples of Eurasia, the formation and evolution of ideas about power and law among the peoples of Eurasia, the transformation of institutions of power and sources of law in turning points in the history of the peoples of Eurasia, and much more.
