A presentation of a catalog of Persian manuscripts took place in Bishkek

Director of the Center for Iranian Studies KRSU Malakhat Mamedova acted as a translator of the book «Catalog of early printed Persian books and manuscripts of the Handwritten Fund of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic», published by the Cultural Representation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The catalog includes scientific descriptions of handwritten lists devoted to issues of religion, morality, and education. Another layer of manuscripts includes literary works, mainly of a poetic nature.

The presentation of the book took place on April 16 at the National Academy of Sciences.

In addition, M. Mamedova took an active part in the events held from April 13 to 15: a meeting of the Iranian Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic with Persian language teachers of local universities, where participants discussed and exchanged views on the situation with teaching the Persian language in Kyrgyzstan during the pandemic; opening of the Center for Persian Literature named after. Ferdowsi National Library; a webinar jointly with Allame Tabatabai University dedicated to teaching the Persian language.
