The Mirrakhimov readings started in Bishkek

Today in a solemn atmosphere in the business center «SHERATON» traditional Mirrakhimov readings opened, dedicated to the memory of the great doctor, cardiologist and teacher, first head of the department of therapy №2 of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, academician Mirsaid Mirkhamidovich Mirrakhimov.

Along with them, the International Medical Forum of the EAEU «Modern Trends in the Development of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery in the EAEU Countries» was launched, which brought together scientists and specialists in the field of cardiology and cardiac surgery from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Armenia and Uzbekistan.

The Forum's questions correlate with the goals of strategic directions for the development of integration in terms of ensuring the accessibility of modern achievements in the field of healthcare for citizens of the EAEU countries, the use of telemedicine technologies and the creation of joint cooperation projects in the field of healthcare, primarily in the field of scientific research and the introduction of innovative developments.

The forum was opened by the director of the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy named after Academician M. Mirrakhimov, Professor T. Sooronbaev (Kyrgyzstan), after which the opening speech of the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic G. Baatyrova was made.

Next, the audience was greeted by the WHO representative in the Kyrgyz Republic Sh. Khuseinov, director of the National Medical Research Center of the Siberian Agricultural Academy named after A. Bakulev of the Ministry of Health of Russia, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professor E. Golukhova (Russia), director of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center «Cardiology», professor N. Mitkovskaya (Belarus), Chairman of the Board of JSC «National Scientific Medical Center», Professor A. Baigenzhin (Kazakhstan).

Then, according to tradition, the honored domestic and foreign professors of cardiology were awarded medals of Academician M. Mirrakhimov, winners of the recently held competition of young scientists – the international personalized Mirrakhimov Prize, and the best students of KSMA and KRSU – diplomas and personalized scholarships allocated by the public Mirrakhimov Foundation.

Through our university, for excellent studies, success in scientific and medical work, these scholarships were received by 6th year students of the specialty «General Medicine» Aiperi Arinova and Angelina Salamatina, on which we cordially congratulate them!
