The International School of Student Tourism has ended in Bishkek
From November 17 to 21, the International School of Student Tourism — a joint project of the North Caucasus Federal University, programs «Student Tourism» and the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia with the support of KRSU was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
Over the course of five days, participants were able not only to get acquainted with Kyrgyzstan, but also to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of intercultural communication, project work and student tourism of a new format.
Students from different regions of Russia and Kyrgyzstan visited key natural and cultural places in the country:
• Ala-Archa — routes, nature and glacial panoramas;
• UOC «Zhashtyk» on Issyk-Kul — introduction to the tourism infrastructure of the region;
• historical and cultural attractions of Bishkek;
• city museums and spaces KRSU.
At the same time, there was a rich educational program: lectures, master classes, teamwork.
The members worked on three tracks:
• patriotism,
• media sphere,
• tourism.
At the end of the week, the teams defended their projects:
- «Two countries — one Victory» — concept of joint youth patriotic programs;
- international student film festival, uniting the creative industries of Russia and Kyrgyzstan;
- student exchange program aimed at developing youth tourism and cultural dialogue.
The International School has become a striking example of how «Studentourism» projects help strengthen ties between students in Russia and Kyrgyzstan, develop cultural and educational space and open up new opportunities for young people.
