On air «Sputnik Kyrgyzstan» winner of the RAS competition

On September 15, the winner of the RAS photo competition «The Great Patriotic War in the fate of the country, in my perception and the perception of my peers»», student of the Faculty of Humanities KRSU Valentina Kutseva and Vice-Rector for Information and Public Relations Leonid Sumarokov took part in a live radio broadcast «Sputnik Kyrgyzstan».

The guests spoke about the photo competition held as part of the XXIX Moses Readings «Russia in the 21st century: the Great Patriotic War and historical memory», and the photographic work of our winner.

According to V. Kutseva, the idea for photography appeared even before the announcement of the competition and it was to show the value of how people are able to unite in the fight against a common enemy, defend the Motherland and sacrifice themselves for the sake of future generations. In Valentina’s family, family stories about the Great Patriotic War are passed on from mouth to mouth.

Leonid Sumarokov noted that Valya’s participation and victory in the RAS – photo competition is a positive and useful example for the youth of Kyrgyzstan and KRSU students, who through their creativity contribute to the preservation of the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War.
