An international youth analytical congress began work at KRSU
On September 13, the opening of the International Youth Analytical Congress «Youth in Greater Eurasia: Potential, Risks, Security, Cooperation» took place in the large assembly hall of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
The large-scale event was organized by the International Analytical Club «Issyk-Kul – Greater Eurasia», created at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University in 2022.
The rector of KRSU, academician Vladimir Nifadiev, addressed the audience with words of greeting. He noted that such a forum was being held in his memory for the first time, emphasized that training analysts is one of the most important tasks of our time, and wished the congress participants productive work.
Then the students involved in the creative studios KRSU showed a political musical «Hello, Integration!» on the stage of the large assembly hall.
After the children’s speech, Nikolai Bordyuzha, Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Eurasian Information and Analytical Consortium (EIAC), addressed the congress participants via video message. He noted that «based on the results of the second Eurasian Analytical Forum, supported by the leadership of the Council of Young Scientists at KRSU, an international youth congress of analytical specialists was created for the first time in the Central Asian region. This, like other projects of the consortium, opens up important prospects for Slavic national universities to play a key role in international youth cooperation of Eurasian countries, to significantly increase and develop the analytical potential of their students, graduate students, young scientists, to identify and eliminate the risks that in conditions of international tension youth face. International analytical cooperation will allow young people to better understand the issues of the emerging world order, and their role in solving political and economic, technological, military-strategic, information, analytical and foreign policy problems of the states of the region».
The head of the scientific direction «Economic Policy» of the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Elena Lenchuk recalled that the consortium included many organizations, among them those that conduct extensive analytical and scientific work. «We often participate in scientific events within this consortium; this is necessary in order to understand the situation and develop recommendations for our decision-making authorities. We talk quite a lot about the fact that now new opportunities are emerging for analytics – technologies related to artificial intelligence, big data. This is necessary not only to solve current problems, but also for important strategic decisions, for the future. These things need to be taught and analytical thinking must be cultivated».
Advisor to the Russian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic Viktor Kharchenko, deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic of the II and V convocations, ex-minister, professor of the Kyrgyz Economic University named after. M. Ryskulbekova Roza Aknazarova and the head of the Russian House in Bishkek Albert Zulkharneev.
The work of the congress began with a plenary session, after which the participants went to Issyk-Kul, where they will continue discussing current issues of the stated topic in sections. The Congress will last until September 17.
