KRSU HAS APPOINTED A NEW VICE-RECTOR FOR STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS
Since 10 July 2024, a new Vice-Rector for Strategic Communications — Svetlana Aleksandrovna Antonova has been appointed at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU). This step is important for the development of the university and strengthening its position in the international arena.
Professional path and achievements
Svetlana Aleksandrovna has an impressive track record and extensive experience in the field of strategic communications and project management.
"In 2006, I graduated from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys, receiving the qualification of an engineer specializing in ferrous metals metallurgy. She worked in leading teams in the implementation of modernization projects and construction of metallurgical facilities in different parts of the world. She led the design and supply of equipment for a metallurgical plant in the Republic of Myanmar, and together with Italian colleagues implemented a project for the construction of a full-cycle metallurgical plant in the UAE. Without breaking away from the production process, she fulfilled the demographic doctrine of the Russian Federation and gave birth to two sons and a daughter. And at the same time she satisfied the needs of her brain, receiving a master’s degree in International Economics from the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade. In 2019, she came to Kyrgyzstan to the location of the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic, where for five years of service she carried out tasks to strengthen trade and economic relations of our countries. This is an invaluable experience that helped me get to know Kyrgyzstan better and feel the atmosphere of friendship and partnership.
The university is the unity of spirituality and culture of our countries. The development of the university is a priority task of the management team, of which I have the honor to be a part. I am confident that my competencies, knowledge and skills will help implement revolutionary new projects that have no analogues in Kyrgyzstan."
Thus, the appointment of Svetlana Aleksandrovna Antonova to the position of vice-rector for strategic communications opens up new prospects for KRSU, allowing the university to strengthen its position and develop international relations.
