KRSU discussed the admissions campaign, program accreditation and teacher competition
A dean's meeting was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) under the leadership of Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Evgeniy Shekunov. At the meeting, key issues related to organizing an admissions campaign, accrediting educational programs and holding a competition to fill vacancies for teaching staff were discussed.
The admissions campaign, scheduled to start on June 20, became one of the main topics of discussion. The university management focused on the need for transparent and clear implementation of all stages of work. This is aimed at ensuring that the process of submitting documents and enrollment is as convenient as possible for applicants.
Particular attention is paid to the accreditation of educational programs, which will be checked by commissions of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science (Rosobrnadzor). Accreditation will be an important step to confirm that curricula meet modern standards. Diagnostic testing will take place for undergraduates in preparation for accreditation on June 19.
The meeting also discussed the completion of the competition for vacancies for teaching staff. The competition commission will soon complete the evaluation of applications and present candidates for approval to the academic councils of faculties, and then to the large Academic Council of the university. Applicants who pass the competition will sign employment contracts for three years, and those who do not pass for formal reasons will be able to enter into fixed-term agreements for a period of one year. Vice-Rector Evgeny Shekunov noted that these steps emphasize the university’s desire to improve educational and personnel processes.
