KRSU discussed the distribution of social benefits and living grants

An extended meeting was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University on the process of distributing social payments and living grants for students. Faculty deans participated to gain a deeper understanding of selection procedures and evaluation criteria.

It focused on working with the student portfolio in four key areas. The introduction of a progressive scale of differentiation of payments is being considered: the better the student’s achievements, the greater the amount of social support he can receive.

Acting Rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov emphasized that students who pass this competition should become an example for others:

"It has to be the student elite, a shining example for fellow students to motivate others to develop and succeed.".

The calculation of payments will begin in September of this year, including grants for accommodation. Priority will be given to students with many children, nonresidents, foreign citizens and people with disabilities. However, the prerequisites are the absence of academic debts and satisfactory learning outcomes — not lower than a grade of four.

To ensure transparency of the competition, a list of winners will be published in the near future, who will be assigned social benefits and compensation for accommodation.

This solution aims to support talented students and create equal opportunities for all students at KRSU.
