KRSU celebrated Chinese New Year
KRSU celebrated Chinese New YearOn February 21, the Department for Work with Foreign Students of the Department of International Relations, together with the Institute of World Civilizations and Languages of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, held a festive and educational event dedicated to the Chinese New Year.The holiday brought together foreign students — citizens of the People's Republic of China, KRSU students studying Chinese, as well as representatives of the Confucius Institute. The evening took place in an atmosphere of openness, friendship and respect for cultural traditions.As part of the program, participants presented reports on the history and symbolism of the holiday, its customs and significance in modern Chinese culture. Guests were able to become more deeply acquainted with the traditions of Chunjie, learn about the role of family, national rituals and holiday symbols.The creative part included national dances, vocal numbers and artistic performances by students who conveyed the flavor and richness of Chinese culture. Of particular interest was the master class on making traditional jiaozi — dumplings one of the main symbols of the festive table.The event became a platform for cultural exchange and strengthening interethnic dialogue, confirming the importance of international cooperation and friendship of peoples in the educational environment KRSU.
