KRSU summed up the results of the essay competition about Iran
On February 10, in the conference hall of the main building, a meeting was held between the director of the Cultural Representative Office of the Iranian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, Mr. Abuzar Togani, and students of the Faculty of International Relations KRSU.
The event was opened by the Dean of the FMO, Associate Professor Alexey Kulikovsky. He noted the importance of close ties between Iran and Kyrgyzstan.
On the eve of this meeting, a competition was held among international affairs students of KRSU dedicated to the 44th anniversary of the Victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. Young people were asked to write an essay about Iran. A total of 26 works took part in the competition, in which the authors touched on various topics: history, culture, art, healthcare, politics, economics, traditions, holidays of Iran.
Mr. A. Togani expressed his appreciation to all participants, noting the serious approach to the selection and implementation of topics. The authors of the three best abstracts received cash prizes (the jury awarded first place to student Begimai Sorombaeva). The remaining participants became winners of incentive prizes presented personally by the director of the Cultural Representative Office of the Iranian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The meeting ended with the screening of a documentary about Iran and a dialogue between Mr. Toghani and FMO students. The distinguished guest answered numerous questions from our international affairs experts.
