An international conference dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of the famous Kyrgyz scientist Abdykadyr Orusbaev was held at KRSU
On February 18, the International Scientific Conference «Current problems of bilingualism and dialogue of cultures took place in the conference hall of the main building of KRSU (in the aspect of interaction of the Russian language with the languages of Central Asia)», of which the members became scientists, representatives of educational and public organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.
The event was timed to coincide with the 85th anniversary of the birth of the Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Doctor of Philology, Professor A.O. Orusbaeva.
The rector of KRSU, academician Vladimir Nifadiev, addressed the participants with words of greeting attache for Education and Science of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Kyrgyzstan Robert Fedorov, professors KRSU Mamed Tagaev and Amangeldy Bekbalaev, associate professor at KSU. AND. Arabaeva Tokon Orusbaeva, director of the Institute of Language and Literature named after. CH. Aitmatova NAS KR Abdyldazhan Akmataliev.
At a plenary session and two sections – «Russian language in the dialogue of languages and cultures» and «Bilingualism and comparative studies of languages and cultures» – experts discussed issues of bilingualism and dialogue of cultures, as well as problems of the development of Russian philology in Kyrgyzstan, the role of the state language in vocational training and much more.
Important:
The conference participants proposed to name the Institute of Russian Language KRSU after Professor Abdykadyr Orusbaevich Orusbaev. This initiative will be considered by the Academic Council of the university.
