An international online conference on the production of clothing products was held at KRSU
An international scientific and practical conference of young scientists and students was held at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The event was held online in cooperation with Lugansk State University.
The conference entitled «Innovations and traditions in the production of clothing products» was the first meeting within the framework of new cooperation between universities. Participants not only presented their research, but also discussed prospects for further interaction.
As a result of the event, a «Cooperation Roadmap» was agreed upon, providing for joint scientific projects, exchange of experience and participation of students and teachers in joint events.
The reports of KRSU students were of particular interest:
«Kyrgyz costume “Ak kuu”» – study of national costume as an element of cultural heritage;
«Russian national costume: history and traditions» – analysis of the development of Russian traditional costume;
«Upcycling» – a modern approach to recycling clothes with an emphasis on environmental friendliness.
The conference became an important platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge between young scientists and students from Kyrgyzstan and Lugansk. It is planned that such events will be held on a regular basis.
