KRSU hosted an interuniversity student conference on current issues in microbiology

On April 18, 2026, the Interuniversity Scientific and Theoretical Student Conference «Current Problems of Microbiology: Distribution of Microorganisms and Infectious Pathology in the Kyrgyz Republic» was held at the Department of Microbiology and Virology of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.The conference was attended by 1–4 year students of the Faculty of Medicine of KRSU, as well as representatives of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, the Asian Medical Institute and the International School of Medicine of the NOU UNPC «IUC». A total of 233 students took part, including 41 students from the English-speaking department.The conference featured 34 presentations, 34 posters and 28 thematic stage productions.
