KRSU hosted an interuniversity student conference on innovations in linguistics and translation studies
An interuniversity student scientific and practical conference on the topic was held at KRSU «Innovative technologies and solutions in linguistics and translation studies».
The organizer was the Department of Theory and Practice of English and Intercultural Communication KRSU. The conference was attended by more than 50 students and young researchers from the country's leading universities, including the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, the Kyrgyz National University. Zh. Balasagyn, Kyrgyz State University named after. AND. Arabaev and the Academy of Tourism.
The event covered topical topics including
• translation of realities, neologisms, dialects and culturally determined concepts;
• introducing artificial intelligence and digital solutions into the practice of translation and teaching of foreign languages;
• teaching methods in digital and bilingual environments;
• student motivation and assessment of language competencies.
Participants paid special attention to the prospects for the use of AI in education, the role of an interdisciplinary approach in modern linguistics, as well as the importance of taking into account the cultural context in translation.
The conference became a significant platform for the development of student research activity, strengthening interuniversity cooperation and developing professional competencies among future specialists in the field of linguistics and translation.
