A meeting was held at KRSU between Acting Rector Sergei Volkov and representatives of leading scientific centers of the Russian Federation
A strategically important meeting between the acting rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov and SkolTech Vice President for Strategic Issues Alexey Sitnikov took place in Bishkek, pchairman of the Board of the University Consortium of Big Data Researchers, scientific director of the Research Laboratory of Applied Big Data Analysis of the National Research University TSU Mikhail Myagkov. The main topic of discussion was the development of partnerships within the university consortium, including more than 70 Russian universities.
The meeting discussed the implementation of joint projects focused on "quick successes". In particular, they discussed the creation of a "Point of Attraction" — interdisciplinary center based on KRSU, which will focus on the development of artificial intelligence and innovative research.
One of the key proposals was the introduction of an educational model combining online courses and face-to-face sessions with the final defense of projects. The main stage of cooperation will be the participation of KRSU in the interuniversity school of artificial intelligence, which will be held in the second half of March.
Sergey Volkov presented the project of the new campus KRSU, which will become a modern platform for scientific research and educational activities. Representatives of the consortium highly appreciated the potential of the university, noting the high level of training of IT specialists.
Alexey Sitnikov emphasized the importance of the area related to artificial intelligence: «If it is impossible to win, this must be led». This idea formed the basis of the idea of a consortium supporting the development of KRSU as a center of innovation in Central Asia.
The results of the meeting confirm the readiness of Russian universities to assist KRSU in the implementation of joint projects.
