A meeting was held at KRSU with the director of the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy, Talant Sooronbaev
At the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, a meeting was held between acting and the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov with the director of the Mirrakhimov National Center for Cardiology and Therapy Talant Sooronbaev. The main topic of discussion was strengthening cooperation in the field of medical education and science.
Talent Sooronbaev noted that the center is undergoing large-scale modernization, including the creation of a high-tech X-ray cluster. He emphasized the uniqueness of the center, based on the traditions of Academician Mirrakhimov’s school, and also focused on research in the field of mining medicine.
«We are interested in creating a joint scientific and educational center with KRSU, where students will be able to study at a clinical base using modern simulators and demonstration models. KRSU is a strategic partner for us, and we want the university to become a connecting platform with Russian medicine», — said Sooronbaev.
Sergei Volkov, in turn, emphasized that the medical field remains one of the key ones in the development of the university. Particular attention is paid to cardiology, oncology and pediatrics.
«By 2032, we will have a new campus, which will become the basis for creating a modern medical cluster. We are also actively working on targeted training of specialists for the healthcare system, given the shortage of personnel in the industry», — Volkov noted.
