KRSU hosted lectures on the development of professional competencies among students of financial and economic specialties

On January 16-17, an open guest lecture was held for students and teachers of the Faculty of Economics by the academic director of the master's program «Corporate Finance» of St. Petersburg State University, Honorary Member of ACCA, author of more than 20 scientific and educational works, Alexander Andrianov.

The topic of the lecture was «Development of professional competencies among students of financial and economic specialties».

The lecturer said that in solving the problems of the country’s recovery from the crisis and ensuring dynamically sustainable economic development, the primary role belongs to professional personnel capable of ensuring the development and production of new competitive products and effective penetration into world markets for goods and services. This requires certain changes in the educational process, an orientation towards students acquiring new professional competencies dictated by modern global trends.

The main idea of the approach proposed by Andrianov A. is that through such development of the system of training students of financial and economic specialties, it is possible to train unique personnel, which is a prerequisite for creating an effective economy in our countries.

The lecture aroused great interest among students and teachers of the Faculty of Economics.
