The VII Kumskov Readings were held at KRSU
On September 12, the International Scientific and Practical Conference «VII Kumskov Readings ‟Industrial Policy in the Conditions of Structural Transformation”» took place in the conference hall of the main building of KRSU. The conference was dedicated to the memory of V.I. Kumskova and N.Kh. Kumskova – prominent scientists, founders of famous scientific schools in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The event, moderated by Marat Kudaykulov, professor of the Department of Economic Theory of KRSU, head of ACEDI, was held within the framework of the project «Adaptation of the theoretical and methodological foundations of effective industrializations to the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic».
The conference was opened by the rector of KRSU, academician Vladimir Nifadiev, Chairman of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Keneshbay Tailakov, director of the Center UNIDO for international industrial cooperation in the Russian Federation Sergey Korotkov, professor at Lomonosov Moscow State University Irina Manakhova, dean of the Faculty of Economics, professor Natalya Brovko.
The main event of the event was signing of a Cooperation Agreement between KRSU and the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic on the joint implementation of the master's program «Market pricing, state price regulation and antimonopoly policy».
At the plenary session, scientists and experts discussed issues industrial policy in the system of national economic strategy, global divergence, system-analytical approach in strategic planning and much more.
