28 january 2026

The next dean's meeting was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, chaired by Rector Sergei Volkov. In a working format, heads of faculties and departments reviewed issues on the educational and organizational agenda, as well as tasks related to the development of the university in 2026.

One of the key blocks of the meeting was preparation for the admissions campaign for the 2026–2027 academic year. We discussed updating information for applicants, timely preparation of materials on educational programs and coordination of actions of all departments involved in admission. The importance of clear navigation and accessibility of information for applicants, including curricula, a list of disciplines and admission requirements, is separately emphasized.

Considerable attention was paid to issues of academic mobility and expanding opportunities for students. We considered approaches to the development of exchange formats, included training and practices, as well as organizational measures that allow students to gain educational experience in partner universities without losing the quality and continuity of training.

A separate item on the agenda was partnership with Russian universities. The meeting participants discussed the current status of interaction on joint projects, prospects for launching new formats of cooperation and mechanisms that allow developing practice-oriented training trajectories, strengthening the scientific and educational component and expanding opportunities for students and teachers.

Also at the meeting, issues of the quality of the educational process and organizational discipline were discussed: working with official requests and documents, compliance with office regulations and timely execution of instructions.

Summing up, Rector Sergei Volkov emphasized the need for systematic coordination between faculties and services of the university, as well as focus on results in key areas — from preparing the admissions campaign and developing mobility to strengthening partnerships and improving the quality of the educational environment.
