An extended meeting of the Council for Educational Work was held at KRSU

KRSU hosted an extended meeting of the Council for Educational Work, chaired by Vice-Rector for Youth and Information Policy Stanislav Kulikov, with the participation of curators of academic groups, representatives of the youth policy department, the trade union organization of students and fighters of the university student teams.The main topic of the meeting was the organization of summer employment for students, the development of a system of student teams, conducting specialized educational shifts and expanding opportunities for practical training of students.During the meeting, it was noted that in 2026, KRSU students will take part in labor projects in medical, pedagogical, service, construction and production areas in various regions of Russia and the Republic of Belarus.Thus, in the medical field, KRSU students will go to sites in Chelyabinsk, Perm and Barnaul. More than 20 students of the Faculty of Medicine will take part in the projects. Another 14 students will take part in the international project «Medicus» in the Republic of Belarus, which is being implemented for the second year in a row.Already next week, 7 KRSU students will go to the city of Alushta to participate in the federal project «More», implemented in the Republic of Crimea.For the first time this year, KRSU begins cooperation with Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg. 20 university students will be involved in various areas of the airport complex. Separately, it was emphasized that the employment of students is carried out officially, with medical examinations, preparation of the necessary documents and conclusion of contracts.In addition, 25 KRSU students will go to work at the military sports camp «Avangard» in the Volgograd region. The university also became the only university outside the Russian Federation that will send students for long-term employment in pedagogical fields to children's camps.Separately, the development of cooperation with the company «Gazprom Kyrgyzstan» was noted. KRSU students, including fighters from student teams, will be able to undergo practical training and gain practical experience in the company’s core activities.During the meeting, plans for the summer campaign of the educational and health complex «Zhashtyk» were presented. Already at the beginning of June, students from the Department of Ecology and Protection in Emergency Situations, as well as the Department of Physical Processes of Mining Production, will undergo internships at the complex.In the summer of 2026, more than ten specialized shifts will also take place on the basis of the complex, including the Kyrgyz-Russian School for the Development of Volunteerism, a summer engineering school, a popular science school, a school of student self-government and social design, an international school of culture and creativity, a sports session, a Russian-Kyrgyz media forum and other projects.Also during the meeting, the development of the system of student achievements, the participation of students in Olympiads, conferences, scientific and sports activities were discussed.Stanislav Kulikov emphasized that the university is consistently expanding opportunities for professional, scientific and personal development of students.«Today it is important that the student does not limit himself only to classroom activities. Practice, participation in projects, scientific activities, student teams, volunteering and sports shape the experience, which in the future becomes a serious advantage for professional growth», — noted the vice-rector.As a result of the meeting, the participants agreed to further expand student employment programs, develop a system of curatorial support and strengthen interaction between faculties, youth associations and student teams of KRSU.
