KRSU hosted a traditional dean's meeting chaired by Rector Sergei Volkov
A regular dean's meeting was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, during which issues of organizing the educational process, document flow, interaction with partners and digitalization of the educational environment were discussed.
Opening the meeting, Rector Sergei Volkov emphasized the importance of a systematic approach to recording requests received through the system «Infodox» and timely response to them.
Particular attention was paid to requests related to confirmation of educational programs of past years. Sergei Volkov noted that the regulatory requirements for storing curricula have changed, and it is important for the university to develop a unified regulation for responses to archival requests.
A separate block discussed the issues of updating educational programs and posting current information on the university website. By the end of the year, it is planned to launch a new version of the KRSU website, which requires complete updating of data on faculties, teachers and curricula.
«We are reaching a new level of openness. The updated KRSU website should become not just a showcase, but a living digital platform reflecting the entire educational process and achievements of the university», — noted the rector.
Considerable attention is paid to the university's partnership programs. According to Sergei Volkov, systematic interaction with industrial and strategic partners should become a priority in the work of faculties:
«We must understand who is our partner and who is simply taking advantage of the university’s capabilities. Those companies that are interested in training personnel and contribute to the development of the university — are our real partners. They are the ones you need to rely on», — Volkov noted.
Special attention was paid to academic debts. Now there is active work with each student — it is important that the guys understand their deadlines and do not postpone retakes until later.
We also discussed the quality of food and renovation of premises: «The main task is — to maintain a high level of the educational process and create comfortable conditions for students and teachers. The university should remain a place where you want to study and work», — emphasized Rector Sergei Volkov.
In addition, the meeting discussed issues of digitalization of the educational process, connecting students to online learning platforms and increasing the efficiency of internal communication.
«We are building a modern university where every solution is based on data and digital tools. This is the only way to ensure the quality and transparency of the educational process», — emphasized Sergei Volkov.
As a result of the meeting, a decision was made to increase the transparency of the work of faculties, strengthen personnel and introduce new approaches to assessing the effectiveness of management teams.
KRSU strengthens the course towards digitalization, updating educational programs and developing partnerships, ensuring the quality and openness of the university environment.
