Boris Medvedev met with future participants of the program «Diplomats of the Future» at KRSU

October 16 at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) named after B.N. Yeltsin, a meeting was held between the Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, member of the Association Council «Children's Social Movement», coordinator of the educational program «Diplomats of the Future» Boris Ivanovich Medvedev with high school students. The event was a continuation of the initiative proposed back in the spring of this year by the President of the DOD «Diplomats of the Future», Deputy Chairman of the ARD, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Vyacheslav Egoshkin during his visit to Bishkek.

At the meeting, Medvedev told schoolchildren about the advantages of participating in the program and the created club of young diplomats, which united students interested in international relations and modern diplomacy. The club is open to new members, which emphasizes the high interest in this area.

Boris Medvedev also spoke in detail about recent major events and the club’s work plans for the end of this year and next. He emphasized that participation in the «Diplomats of the Future» program not only helps schoolchildren develop skills for a future profession as an international affairs student, but also develops the qualities necessary to become «diplomats in life».

The meeting was also attended by the head of the Youth Policy Center KRSU P.I. Suleymanov, school director E.A. Borovkova and Deputy Director for Educational Work L.V. Voityshina. They thanked Boris Medvedev for the meaningful conversation and noted that schoolchildren now feel part of an important social movement in which everyone can realize their interests and aspirations.
