A strategic session to develop the Development Program 2026–2030 has started at KRSU
A strategic session has begun at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, the purpose of which is — to translate the KRSU strategy until 2040 into specific action programs and road maps. The main task is to determine priorities for the next three years and design a five-year budget perspective, recording realistic steps in key areas of development.
Sergey Volkov, rector of KRSU:
«We have strategic guidelines, but it is important to turn them into real steps — with clear deadlines, resources and responsibilities. The main thing now is —not to discuss goals, but to focus on how to achieve them».
Maria Vrublevskaya, vice-rector of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University:
«Our challenge — to build a bridge from strategy to operational solutions: to turn the vision to 2040 into concrete steps and results of the coming years».
The session is held with the participation of experts from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and includes six thematic groups: educational and research policy, human capital management, youth policy, additional professional education, as well as blocks «Infrastructure» and «Finance».
Based on the results of the three-day work, participants will present a draft KRSU Development Program for 2026–2030 with clear goals, indicators, roadmaps and a resource plan.
The strategic session is designed to transform the university's guidelines — updating the content of training, increasing scientific potential, developing infrastructure and involving students in projects — into a step-by-step action plan with measurable effect for education, science and the country's economy.
