KRSU has completed a sociological study on creating a safe educational environment
The Center for Sociological Research of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University completed a survey among students of grades 5–10 of the secondary school KRSU and college students. 440 people took part in the study.
The survey was conducted as part of the implementation of a program to create a safe educational environment and was aimed at studying the life guidelines, interests, values of students, as well as the degree of their involvement in social activity.
The results showed that the majority of respondents have an active life position, strive for self-realization and show interest in participating in socially useful initiatives. Among the main priorities of life, young people most often named family, friendship, health and professional development.
The researchers paid special attention to issues of media literacy and digital security. Teenagers noted the significant influence of the Internet and social networks on the formation of their views and behavior. These data indicate the need to strengthen the work of teachers and parents to develop critical thinking and responsible attitudes towards digital information in students.
Based on the survey results, the management of KRSU plans to continue systematic work to create conditions for safe self-expression of schoolchildren and students. In the future, it is planned to expand social activity programs, develop volunteer and creative initiatives, as well as introduce preventive measures aimed at preventing destructive behavior and strengthening the culture of information security.
