The student strategy session ended at KRSU: young leaders presented their projects
A large-scale student strategic session was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, which became a platform for generating innovative ideas and bright initiatives. Six divisions presented their projects before an expert commission, which included acting, rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov, representatives of the Russian Embassy, Rossotrudnichestvo and St. Petersburg University.
Student ideas that impress
Each division has prepared a unique project aimed at developing the university and student community. As a result of a tense struggle, the self-government division won with the initiative to create business startups and develop university infrastructure. Their project was recognized as the most promising and relevant.
In second place was the science division, which proposed creating scientific schools on the coast of Issyk-Kul — a place for research, exchange of experience and joint discoveries.
Third place was taken by the adapter division, which presented a program to popularize KRSU among young people, aimed at increasing university recognition and attracting applicants.
A worthy fourth position was taken by the sports division, which developed a strategy for the development of student tourism, including hikes, expeditions and sports competitions.
But fifth and sixth places with an equal number of points were shared by the divisions of civic position and creativity. The former proposed strengthening the volunteer movement at KRSU, and the latter — created their own film studio, which would make films and videos about the life of the university.
Bright speeches, creative presentations and heated discussions proved that KRSU students are ready not only to dream, but also to bring their ideas to life. Now the teams will have to work out their projects in detail and present plans for their implementation.
Acting by Rector of KRSU Sergey Volkov noted: «The strategic session showed that our students have not only knowledge, but also a true entrepreneurial and research spirit. All presented projects — are a step towards the development of our university and the student environment as a whole. We will support the best initiatives and help students make them a reality».
The future of the university is being created today — by proactive, purposeful and creative students!
