The Medical Science and Health Forum «Multidisciplinary Approaches: From Science to Practice» has ended at KRSU
The Forum of Medical Science and Healthcare «Multidisciplinary approaches: from science to practice», held as part of the XXIV Days of Medical Science KRSU, ended at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.The second day of the forum was devoted to the work of specialized scientific and practical sections, uniting teachers, practicing doctors, residents, graduate students and students of the Faculty of Medicine.As part of the section of infectious diseases, phthisiology and dermatovenerology, participants discussed modern approaches to the treatment of psoriasis using immunobiological drugs, current issues of diagnosis and treatment of brucellosis, algorithms for managing patients with suspected tuberculosis, and also considered a clinical case of chickenpox in an immunocompetent adult patient.The section on pediatrics and neurodevelopment of children was devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of childhood diseases. Participants presented reports on neonatal pathological jaundice, immune thrombocytopenia in children, modern approaches to assessing a child’s neurodevelopment and current areas of pediatric neurology. Specialists from Kyrgyzstan and the Russian Federation took part in the work of the section.At the section of internal medicine and psychoneurology, modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, issues of preventing complications of arterial hypertension, management of patients with osteoporosis, peripheral atherosclerosis and familial hypercholesterolemia were discussed. Special attention was paid to mental health problems in general somatic practice, diagnosis of depressive disorders and neurology issues.During the discussions, participants exchanged clinical experience, discussed modern scientific data and the possibilities of introducing new approaches to practical healthcare.Summing up the results of the forum, the organizers noted the high interest of the medical community in the event and emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary interaction for the development of medical science, personnel training and improvement of the healthcare system.The Forum has traditionally become a platform for professional dialogue between scientists, teachers and practitioners, promoting the integration of science, education and clinical practice.
