In the world of microbes
The Olympiad in Microbiology and Virology «World of Microbes» is held at the Faculty of Medicine of KRSU annually. This academic year it took place on May 13.
The conditions for selecting participants were complete homework with writing notes, activity in practical classes, drawing drawings for the topic of the lesson, successful completion of modules during the academic year, no absences from classes and lectures, defense of abstracts, making presentations within the group and at scientific -theoretical conference, creative application of knowledge acquired during mastering the subject.
The Olympics took place in several stages:
· completing a test task
· solving a situational problem
· description of the drug.
A 100-point scale was used to evaluate the results:
85 – 100 – excellent;
75 – 84 – good;
60 – 74 – satisfactory;
less than 59 – unsatisfactory.
The teachers of the department previously compiled lists of students – potential participants, but in the end, the 35 best 2nd year students of the Faculty of Medicine competed for the title of winners.
The winners, with exemption from passing the microbiology exam for grades 4 and 5, were 14 of them, namely: Khusnia Mamazhanova, LD-3-21 (100 points, exc.); Kanyshay Amanbaeva, LD-13-21 (92 points, exc.); Nuria Abasbekova, LD-15-21; Aidai Musabekova, gr. LD-15-21 (88 points, ex); Fatima Smarova, LD-17-21 (92 points, ex); Dastan Malikov, LD-17-21 (96 points, ex); Almazbek kyzy Yasmina, PD-2-21 (95 points, ex); Zhenishbek Mukashev, gr. PD-2-21 (95 points, ex); Kanyshay Kalieva, PD-3-21 (80 points, choir); Aiganysh Aitbaeva, PD-4-21 (76 points, choir); Sofia Nakhaeva, PD-7-21 (85 points, choir); Daria Kozodaeva, SD-2-21 (79 points, choir); Veronika Zhidkova, SD-2-21 (78 points, choir).); Madina Tokhtieva, SD-4-21 (80, choir).
