Maslenitsa was celebrated at the KRSU School

The KRSU School hosted a bright celebration of Maslenitsa — one of the most fun and traditional folk holidays. Students, teachers and guests of the event plunged into the atmosphere of folk festivities, songs, dances and fun.

The festive program began with performances by schoolchildren who prepared round dances, folk songs and skits dedicated to welcoming spring. Particular attention was drawn to riddles on the topic of Maslenitsa, which the participants were happy to solve.

There was also a main treat — aromatic pancakes that everyone could try. The holiday ended with the traditional burning of an effigy of Maslenitsa, symbolizing farewell to winter and the onset of warm days.
