As part of the dissertation council of the Kyrgyz Republic
The National Attestation Commission under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, by Order № 39 dated May 10, 2022, approved the composition of the dissertation council of the Kyrgyz Republic (co-founders – Osh State University and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the First President of the Russian Federation B. Yeltsin) for the defense of dissertations for the academic degree of candidate of philological sciences consisting of 13 people chaired by the director of the Center for Linguistic Research, Doctor of Philology, Professor K. Zulpukarova (Deputy Chairman – Doctor of Philology, Professor, Director of the Institute of Russian Language KRSU M. Tagaev, Scientific Secretary – Head of the Department of Translation Studies, Kyrgyz State University. AND. Arabaeva, associate professor G. Ibraimova).
The dissertation council consists of 12 doctors and 1 candidate of sciences.
The Council has the right to accept candidate dissertations for defense and award the academic degree of Candidate of Philological Sciences in two specialties: 02/10/01 – Kyrgyz language; 02/10/20 – comparative historical, typological and comparative linguistics.
These specialties are relevant, as they reflect the peculiarities of the language situation in Kyrgyzstan. They are aimed at studying various aspects of the Kyrgyz language system and its interaction with Russian and other languages operating in our country.
To open a dissertation council in these specialties, the founders have all the grounds of a legal, scientific, personnel, educational and material-technical nature.
Universities have a powerful educational and production base, libraries, significant electronic resources, highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel capable of conducting scientific research at the appropriate level, and providing qualified leadership to doctoral and graduate students.
