Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov held a meeting with participants in the program for the development of personnel management reserves in the field of science, technology and higher education.
Valery Falkov devoted his speech to strategic issues of the development of science in modern conditions.
He noted that currently all over the world «all systems of science and innovation are being reassembled for a number of reasons».
«The key task to be solved by a new model for the development of science in Russia –is achieving independence in critical technological solutions and leadership in fundamentally new sectors of the economy», – said the head Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
The final stage of the personnel reserve program brought together more than 80 managers in the field of science and education. Participants included deputy heads of universities and scientific organizations, heads of research departments of Russian technology companies, representatives of regional authorities overseeing the development of science, education and innovation, as well as recently appointed managers.
The event was attended by the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin Sergei Volkov.
The program has been implemented since 2022 on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The organizers are the Higher School of Public Administration of the Presidential Academy and the University of Science and Technology «Sirius» with the participation of the country's leading educational and scientific centers.
The goal of the initiative — is to form a professional community of young managers capable of effectively leading scientific organizations and universities, as well as implementing state scientific and educational policies at all levels.
Over the course of eight educational modules, participants studied national priorities of scientific and technological development, issues of the green economy, industrial and natural resource potential of Russian regions, as well as features of working in a multicultural educational environment.
