Inspired by Roerich or A Holiday for the Future

This was the headline of a large article in the September 28, 2021 issue of the newspaper «Slovo Kyrgyzstan».

The material by journalist Alexander Shepelenko is dedicated to the International Day of Peace, which was celebrated at KRSU by representatives of public organizations and students of Kyrgyzstan.

The celebration in Bishkek was opened by the representative of the international center-museum named after N. Roerich Svetlana Sinenko and the vice-rector of KRSU for scientific work Valery Lelevkin.

Rector of KRSU, academician Vladimir Nifadiev, congratulating the participants of the celebration, noted that the great merit of N. Roerich, the author of the Peace Pact, was that he showed the world path to the civilized world through culture and its achievements.

Deputy Head of the Kyrgyz Society of Siege Survivors of Leningrad Marat Kutanov awarded professors KRSU, long-time authors of the newspaper «Slovo of Kyrgyzstan», academician of the National Academy of Sciences Vladimir Ploskikh and Doctor of Historical Sciences Valentina Voropaeva.

The solemn celebration of the International Day of Peace concluded with a round table meeting on the topic «Peace and culture – two sacred strongholds of humanity».
