Virtual exhibition about the history of Russian education

On the Days of Russian Language and Culture, held by the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and the Russian State Humanitarian University on November 18-19, a photo exhibition was opened «History of Russian education in Kyrgyzstan (1867-1917)». Its author – Deputy Director of the Russian Language Institute KRSU, Doctor of Historical Sciences Olga Sumarokova.

The exhibition was created on the basis of archival documents and historical photographs stored in the archives of Almaty, Bishkek, Moscow and Tashkent. It allows you to evaluate Russia’s creative activities in the region, determine the place and role of Russian education and the Russian language in it.

The virtual exhibition – presented below, an analogue of the previously deployed stationary –, will allow a remote visitor to take an educational excursion into the depths of history.
