A taste of victory
The ordo competition has ended as part of the student sports competition. The team of the Faculty of Medicine, consisting of K. Akbarov, D. Egemkulov and A. Turgumbaev, scored 16 points at the end of the competition and became the winner of the tournament. In second place with 15 points is the team of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction. Bronze for athletes from the Faculty of Economics.
Ordo – a traditional game of the Kyrgyz, which has survived from ancient times to the present. Its essence lies in knocking out the opponent’s alchiks (asyks) from the knight (circle) and taking a more advantageous position on the field.
The results of the men's volleyball tournament have also been summed up. In first place, without losing a single game, was the team of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology. Here are the names of the winners: Arsen Ergeshev, Bolotbek uulu Maksat, Akylbek uulu Iman, Akylbek uulu Khanbolot, Sanzhar Matubraimov, Idris uulu Sherimkul, Bael Kaparov, Adilet Tursunbekov, Andrey Vazhenev and Kurmanbek Misirov.
Sanzhar Maturbraimov, 3rd year student at ETF:
–Before the Spartakiad, our captain Arsen Ergeshev formed the main team of the national team, we conducted several training sessions to play each other.
During the Spartakiad games, I was personally amazed by the FMO team, the black horse of the competition. But still, our principal rivals were representatives of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction and the Faculty of Medicine. The game is always equal with them. However, this time we turned out to be stronger.
Idris uulu Sherimkul, 2nd year student at ETF:
– Athletes from all faculties showed excellent play and competitive spirit. Our team won the tournament thanks to an experienced captain and a magnificent athlete Arsen Ergeshev.
The game with the medical faculty team turned out to be difficult. We lost the first game, but in the second we changed our strategy, turned the tide of the game and won two games in a row.
We are proud of our victory and will fight for prizes in future competitions!
