Restoring the destinies of heroes
On October 27, KRSU, together with Belgorod State University, held an online presentation of a collection of documentary essays «Front Roads of People's Deputies». Author of the book – Vice-Rector of KRSU, Candidate of Historical Sciences Leonid Sumarokov. The presentation of the book was attended by the rector of KRSU, academician Vladimir Nifadiev, as well as representatives of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A new scientific work reveals an unknown page in the activities of deputies of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR of the first convocation (elected in 1938) – participation in the Great Patriotic War. 54 deputies of the first parliament of Kyrgyzstan took part in hostilities on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. The victorious day of May 9, 1945 was seen by 17 front-line deputies. 20 people's representatives died a brave death on the battlefields, one was killed by Bandera, one died of illness. The fate of 15 deputies remained unknown for many years and was hidden behind the words – missing.
In the course of work to restore the feat of the people's representatives, it was established that two members of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR died during the Battle of Kursk and were buried in the Belgorod region. Belgorod residents provided assistance in establishing the fate of the heroes.
Deputy Shamshi Egemzharov, who was on the list of missing persons, died during the liberation of the village of Kasilovo, Grayvoronsky district, Belgorod region. Another people's representative – Murzabek Baltabaev – died a brave death in the battles for the village of Butovo, Yakovlevsky district, Belgorod region.
In a live broadcast conducted by two universities, Natalya Matchina, deputy director of the MBOU «Kosilovskaya secondary school» of the Grayvoronsky district of the Belgorod region, spoke about how the memory of Kyrgyzstanis who died during the Great Patriotic War is preserved in the Belgorod region.
