Meeting of the acting rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov with representatives of the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry
At the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, a meeting was held between the acting rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov and representatives of the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, including the director of the practice department Sabina Aliyeva. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the prospects for partnership and strengthening academic ties between universities.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a project for a double diploma for undergraduates, which will allow graduates to receive diplomas from both universities. Opportunities for student exchange for one semester were considered, which will give undergraduate and graduate students access to educational programs of the partner university. Programs for the interchange of scientific supervisors for master's and doctoral students were also discussed, which will improve the quality of scientific training.
An important topic of the meeting was the holding of joint scientific conferences and publications in international scientific publications, which will strengthen research activities and raise the authority of both parties in the international arena. In addition, universities have expressed their readiness to support each other in QS ranking voting, which helps increase their position among the world's leading educational institutions.
Sergey Volkov noted the importance of cooperation with the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, emphasizing that KRSU is open to new initiatives and is ready to develop a full-fledged partnership.
