Meeting at the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation: Russia and Kyrgyzstan are strengthening ties in education and science

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation held a meeting with a delegation from the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) led by Rector Denis Fomin-Nilov. At the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to expand cooperation in the field of science and higher education.

The rector of the university presented the results of the university’s activities, its achievements and current challenges. He also discussed plans to modernize the university aimed at improving the quality of education and research.

From April 15 to 16, KRSU will host a series of events on scientific and technical cooperation with Russian universities and specialized centers. As part of these events, a visiting meeting of the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education is planned in Kyrgyzstan.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed issues of youth policy. They stressed the importance of involving young people in scientific research and educational projects, and the need to support young talents.
Rector Denis Fomin-Nilov emphasized the importance of this aspect, saying: “Youth is the engine of progress and innovation. Our task is to create conditions for their development and realization of potential. After all, they are the ones who will shape the future of our country and the world as a whole.”
