KRSU graduate Arslan Niyazov: KRSU – the best university in Kyrgyzstan!
Meet Arslan Niyazov, our graduate. Currently, he is a participant in the recruitment of cosmonauts for the Russian State Research Institute of Cosmonaut Training.
In 2010, he completed his studies with honors at the Faculty of Medicine of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University in the specialty «General Medicine», receiving the qualification of a doctor.
Arslan Ramilevich's professional path includes significant experience in the field of medicine and research. From 2008 to 2010, he worked as a senior laboratory assistant at the Laboratory for Optimization of the Educational Process of the Department of Physiological Disciplines of the Faculty of Medicine of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. From 2012 to 2017, Niyazov was a co-investigator of clinical trials at the Center for Liver Research of the RUDN University, at the same time, from 2013 to 2017, he worked as a general practitioner (hepatologist) at this center. From 2015 to 2017, he also served as Clinical Research Coordinator and from 2016 to 2017 as Deputy Director of the Center for Liver Research.
Since 2015, Arslan Ramilevich has been working in the Department of Operational Management of Medical Support for Space Flights at the Institute of Medical and Biological Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMBP). He was the physician-in-charge of the «Luna–2015» and «Immersion–2016» experiments, participated in search and rescue support for launches and landings of manned spacecraft of the «Soyuz» series, and also carried out duty at the Center for Medical Support of Space Objects (TSUMOKO).
Despite the fact that Arslan Niyazov does not yet have experience in space flights, his extensive training and participation in various space experiments make him a promising candidate for the role of cosmonaut in future Roscosmos missions.
