«Language and culture of the 21st century»: KRSU students showed off their knowledge of the Chinese language
On April 20, a competition of student scientific works «Language and Culture of the 21st Century» dedicated to International Chinese Language Day was held in the conference hall of KRSU.
The event was organized by the Department of World Languages and the Center for Chinese Language and Culture KRSU.
With words of greeting to the participants – employees of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, teachers of KRSU and KNU named after. Zh. Balasagyn, students were addressed by the Vice-Rector of KRSU for scientific work, Professor Valery Lelevkin, Vice-Rector of KRSU for Information and Public Relations, Candidate of Historical Sciences Leonid Sumarokov, Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Li Baojie, as well as the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of KRSU, Associate Professor Alexey Kulikovsky.
KRSU students studying in the specialty «Translation and Translation Studies» (specialization «Linguistic support of interstate relations») with the Chinese language made presentations.
The best works were awarded diplomas and commemorative certificates for active participation in the student work competition.
Diplomas of the competition winners were awarded to Aman Tursunaliev (1st degree diploma), Dastan Sultanov (2nd degree diploma), Elizaveta Enova (3rd degree diploma).
Certificates were awarded to: Ismail Altynbekov, Nuriza Sattarova, Odina Zakirova, Ernst Matkadyrov, Aizhan Khalikova.
