The Faculty of Law participated in a seminar on freedom of religious and other beliefs

Teachers and students of the Faculty of Law of KRSU took part in the seminar on the topic: «Freedom of religious and other beliefs in the Kyrgyz Republic: practice of legal regulation and consideration of certain issues in relation to constitutional and international standards».

The event was organized by the Center for Religious Studies of Kyrgyzstan and became a significant platform for discussing modern challenges in the field of legal regulation of freedom of opinion.

Participants got acquainted with examples of law enforcement practice, analyzed current cases and had the opportunity to ask experts professional questions. The seminar allowed for increased knowledge of constitutional and international law, as well as strengthened links between future and practicing lawyers.

Seminar participant Nasiba Eshmuradova noted the importance of such events:

«The development of tolerance and in-depth study of legislation in the field of religious regulation plays an important role in the progression of society. Understanding legal mechanisms and respect for different beliefs contribute to strengthening the legal culture and harmonious development of the country».

The seminar was an important step in the professional development of students and confirmed the importance of dialogue about human rights and freedoms in modern society.
