B medicine is currently developing strongly. The branch of otorhinolaryngology – head and neck surgery is no exception, current issues of which were covered on October 13-14 in Moscow at the VI All-Russian Forum «Interdisciplinary approach to the treatment of head and neck diseases».

 

Employees of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and employees of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of KSMA took part in its work: Professor, Chairman of the Public Association «Scientific Association of Otorhinolaryngologists of the Kyrgyz Republic» V. Nasyrov, Associate Professor M. Nasyrov, Assistant of the Department K. Bakiev, teachers B. Zhumabaev and A. Turumbekova.

 

The forum discussed a variety of areas of otorhinolaryngology. On the first day, presentations were made in the following sections: «General otorhinolaryngology», «Otosurgery and surgery of the base of the skull», «Questions of audiology», «Features of the course of postcovid syndrome in lesions of the upper respiratory tract». On the second day, reports were discussed in the sections: «Advanced endoscopic surgery of the paranasal sinuses and skull base. Modern accesses and possible complications», «Current issues in pediatric otorhinolaryngology», «Labyrinths of otoneurology», «Rehabilitation of voice disorders and selected issues of laryngeal surgery», «Clinical issues of laryngeal pathology», «Diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with ENT tumors -organs», «Modern treatment methods in head and neck oncology».

 

And on October 18, the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of KRSU and the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of KSMA held a regular plenary meeting «of the Scientific Association of Otorhinolaryngologists of the Kyrgyz Republic» chaired by the head of the Department of ENT Diseases of KRSU, Associate Professor T. Izaeva.

 

Otorhinolaryngologists from Bishkek and surrounding areas took part in the meeting, at which new pharmaceuticals in the treatment of ENT pathology were discussed.
