The 2021 Student English Language Olympiad has ended
On April 22, the Department of Foreign Languages KRSU held the third and final round of the student Olympiad in English, which became the logical conclusion of the group and faculty stages that took place from February to mid-April.
Faculties competed to be named the best in language literacy. Students demonstrated knowledge of the history, culture and science of English-speaking countries, practical command of the language during conversations with teachers, and found errors in unfamiliar original texts.
The absolute winners in terms of total points were representatives of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology (Adelina Bryukhanova, Alisho Muborakshoev, Ayana Torgoeva). Students of the Faculty of Architecture, Construction and Design (Kenzhe Bokoeva, Talantbek Kyzy Maria, Guzal Ramil) have only three points less. By the decision of the jury, both faculties earned the title of champions of the language Olympiad.
Second place was shared between the Faculty of International Relations (Aizhan Zhooshbaeva, Begimai Karybekova, Tatyana Shishenina) and the Faculty of Law (Aikena Bakytbekova, Danila Ovsyannikov, Albina Muslimova).
In third place were students of the Faculty of Economics (Zarina Bakeeva, Aziret Zhanybekov, Elina Moldousupova) and the Faculty of Humanities (Aikanysh Abdyraimova, Diana Kucher, Nestan Maksudova).
Congratulations to the participants and winners of the language Olympiad. All of them will be awarded commemorative certificates.
