The deadline for submitting applications for the position of rector of KRSU has ended

The deadline for submitting applications for the position of rector has ended at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. Three candidates will take part in the elections, each of whom is expected to present a university development program in the near future.

Earlier, the Academic Council of KRSU nominated Sergei Yuryevich Volkov. His papers were registered on 12 March 2025. On the same day, the candidacy of Marina Gennadievna Yurchenko was registered, which was nominated by a meeting of employees of the interfaculty department of foreign languages. On March 13, Marat Kyshtoovich Kudaykulov was registered, who announced his participation in the elections by self-nomination.

The next stage will be the candidates presenting their university development programs. The rector of KRSU will be elected by a governing council consisting of representatives of Kyrgyzstan and Russia. The candidacy will be approved by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
