Significant Step in Education: St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University signed an Agreement
In a world where online education is becoming increasingly important and accessible, two educational institutions — SPbPU and KRSU — have joined forces by signing an Agreement of Intent on cooperation in the field of online education and distance learning technologies.
The agreement signed by the rector of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Andrey Rudsky, and the acting rector of KRSU, Denis Fomin-Nilov, opens up new prospects for both parties, designed to combine intellectual, technical and resource potential for the implementation and use of the latest educational technologies.
The agreement provides for various areas of cooperation, including the introduction of online courses as part of core educational programs, joint development of courses, testing of developed distance learning plugins and placement of courses on internal university portals.
"We see in this cooperation enormous potential for the development of education and its accessibility," emphasized the rector of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Andrey Rudskoy. «Online education is becoming increasingly important in the modern world, and we are ready to share our experience and knowledge with partners from KRSU».
The agreement also provides for the active participation of both parties in the exchange of experience and knowledge.
KRSU will provide its resources to host courses and provide support for the development of joint projects. "This is an important step for us towards the development of online education and knowledge exchange," said Denis Fomin-Nilov, acting rector of KRSU.
«We are convinced that joint efforts with SPbPU will help us improve the quality of education and make it more accessible to students». The agreement comes into force from the moment of signing and is valid for five years with the possibility of extension by mutual agreement and represents an important step in the development of education in both countries.
