Experts in infectious pathology
On March 31, at the Department of Infectious Diseases of KRSU, an Olympiad «Infectious Pathology Experts» dedicated to the 30th anniversary of KRSU was held among 5th year LD and 6th year PD students.
Students competed in the creative application of knowledge, skills, and clinical thinking skills in the discipline «Infectious Diseases».
The Olympics consisted of 3 rounds. First – solving test tasks, each of which was rated 1 point; task completion time – 30 minutes. Students who scored from 17 to 20 points advanced to the second round. Second – «Business game» – use of theoretical knowledge in solving a clinical problem and theoretical issues. Task completion time – 20 minutes; maximum number of points – 20. Third round – creative competition – homework on the topic of preventing vaccine-preventable infections (creative performance for 1-3 minutes in the form infographics, poster or video); maximum number of points in the third round –5.
